WE FOUND LOVE
I can’t lie, I did initially wonder whether the beautiful, young, international popstar and red carpet veteran Rihanna and I would have anything in common make-up wise, and whether anything in her new luxurious range would be on my Christmas list.
Me of little faith, it turns out that, though not entirely like peas in a pod, we are both, along with the majority of the female population, passionate about the creation of a good base and Rihanna’s initial inspiring offering from her new range is definitely all about the base.
What Ms. Fenty (her actual surname) has created is a credible line of skin perfecting products, imaginatively named by the artist
herself. The original 91 different skews include, to name but a few key lines, an impressive forty-strong foundation range to cater for a myriad skin tones and a glorious range of skinsticks – matte versions to conceal and contour and shimmery delights to highlight, and both showcased in slick, nude-coloured packaging which gravitate towards each other in a satisfying magnetic pull, so they stay together in your bag making them as practical as they are bonnylooking.
Ms. F has thought of everything. I am currently using and loving the pinky nude primer, the foundation, which incredibly manages to be both matte and dewy at the same time, if that’s possible, and my bespoke Match Stix Trio. Easy on the eye, a cinch to use and look great on the skin.
This make-up means business and there’s no stopping Rihanna now, as she’s revved up the glitz with a limited edition Galaxy Collection in time for Christmas.
May we all Shine Bright like a Diamond.

My make-up bag contains a little army of products who come together as a team and play an important part in getting this face off the ground, but there are some front runners who have worked tirelessly to perk me up since the clocks went back and therefore deserve some extra love.
